DAVE JOHNSON 1957-2009

Dave, guitarist with Shapeshifter, recorded a large body of solo music over many years right up to his death from cancer in March 2009.

This album was compiled from a number of CDRs containing a few tracks each, recorded around the October-November 2008 period. As with most of his music from this final phase, most of it remains untitled with the exception of the first two pieces presented here.

Dave had no interest in money and in both his music and his paintings he created for nothing more and nothing less than the pure desire to create. In concordance with the wishes of his widow Christine, all proceeds from the online sale of his music will be donated to LOROS, the charity who did everything they could to make his final months as bearable as possible.
